Overview

Suncoast Clinical Research partners with the world's leading pharmaceutical companies and local physicians to conduct clinical trials. The goal of these trials is to research the safety and effectiveness of investigational medications, while providing quality patient care and ensuring patient safety. Suncoast Clinical Research has been conducting research in our community for over ten years and currently has two sites, in New Port Richey and Palm Harbor, Florida.

Suncoast Clinical Research works with physicians of varying specialties throughout Pasco and Pinellas counties. We provide a turnkey clinical research department so that physicians can benefit from being involved in research without having to manage the extensive regulatory details and administrative functions.

Physicians that partner with Suncoast Clinical Research to conduct clinical trials receive the following support:

• Negotiating contracts with pharmaceutical companies and CROs
• Handling all regulatory submissions, communications, and documentation oversight
• Marketing of the trial, for patient recruitment
• Knowledge transfer and collaboration regarding Good Clinical Practice guidelines governing clinical research
• Compensation for patient visits
