Industry Involvement
Suncoast Clinical Research is actively involved in the clinical research community, in order to stay at the forefront of our ever-evolving industry. In addition to attending industry conferences, below are other ways Suncoast Clinical Research demonstrates leadership and commitment within our industry.
- Founding member and annual attendee of Site Solutions Summit. Suncoast Clinical Research was one of a handful of top sites across the country that attended the first meeting. The Summit has now grown to over 500 attendees, providing clinical research executives from site, sponsor, CRO, and supplier organizations with a venue to share best practices and drive innovation and improved business results within the clinical research industry.
- Charter member of the Society for Clinical Research Sites – the first trade association established to represent clinical research sites globally, providing the sites a voice and a community. Suncoast Clinical Research also serves on the Membership Committee for this association.
- CISCRP supporter and contributor. Suncoast Clinical Research regularly contributes to CISCRP (Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation), a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and informing the public, patients, medical/research communities, the media, and policy makers about clinical research and the role each party plays in the process.
- Participant in invitation-only Site Advocacy Groups with a prominent global pharmaceutical company and EDC vendor
